It's also a nice place for a glass of wine in the evening. And you can see the sky.
We got there just as it opened, so there weren't many people around. They allow you to take some photographs, very limited, but I did snap a couple:
From there, we went to the Plaza for the Art Fair. We drank a refreshing lime and honey beverage. The rim of the glass was dipped in honey and then coconut. Late morning was hot.
Then to lunch at The Shed, where we split a fresh salad before touring the churches: Basilica Cathedral of St. Francis, Loretto Chapel, San Miguel Mission.
In a short time, we knew we'd had too much of people. Thankfully, Kay and I are compatible companions when it comes to travel. We both need a lot of solitude and a lot of natural beauty: sky, water, trees, earth. By this time, I was thinking, "There are all these tourists, and US." We laughed about that later.
