So, some really difficult moments are coming to me these days, and Heather Kopp's blog was a great help to me this morning. While I can't control much of anything, I am able to answer Jesus's question, "What do you want Me to do for you?" That in itself, somehow, is a grace.
Here are some notes to self:
"I must remember that this is not the only thing in my life right now, or ever. No matter how hard it is, I still have God, love, Jack, and everything I need--work, friendships, support, and so much more.
If it all ends right now, I've at least experienced all of the grace of it--nothing I have ever "earned" or "deserved." And I can always, no matter what, choose to do the next right thing.
